Are you a charity looking for a video producer? You need someone who understands the challenges you face:
- Creating real impact with video content.
- Reaching funders and volunteers who are already overwhelmed with marketing messages.
- Empathetically and ethically working with subjects, some who may be vulnerable.
- Campaigning effectively for change.
- Achieving all these things on a reasonable budget, with a producer who realises you have many things to achieve and not as much time as you would like!
It’s important to choose a provider who can create effective video content and advise on best practice to help your video get seen by your target audience, whilst truly understanding your message and empathetically working with subjects and service users.
Communicating the right messages with video for charities
The Sussex Beacon had a range of messages to communicate and were keen to do so in a way that would look different to the many other charity videos out there. We had a number of creative meetings with the team to create a comprehensive production document and filmed with staff and service users to create a video to be premiered at a flagship event. Watch that video below!
“We aimed to make a charity video that was more interesting than all the ones we could find online. Let’s Talk Video Production fulfilled that brief and more. The end result was a film that reflected our values and gave exactly the tone of voice and mood that we had looked for.
We premiered the video at our annual Halloween fundraising ball. The evening was a great success and we all felt very proud of the video, which went down really well. I would recommend Let’s Talk Video Production wholeheartedly.”

Empathetically working with vulnerable subjects
We worked with Amaze and PaCC Brighton to produce a video that would help in the fight for funding for families. Due to caring 24/7, these parents could not easily speak to politicians so this film was made to tell their stories to those decision makers.
This involved filming sensitively with vulnerable subjects and resulted in the protection of funding.
“I can’t recommend Laura highly enough.
She quickly grasped the nature of the film that we needed to make and she was very sensitive to the difficult subject matter that we were trying to convey to our audience. Laura was happy to visit myself and my teenage son who has a severe learning disability, to film our mornings “getting ready for school”. This can present very tricky moments as my son frequently displays difficult and challenging behaviour. Laura took this all in her stride and made me feel comfortable when she interviewed me.
Laura’s skilful narrative, filming and editing had significant impact on local politicians in our area, securing investment in short breaks for children and young with people with special educational needs and disability.”
